The year is 1977 and DAVID TANGIER’S sense of identity is all but destroyed as he is living the life of a hairdresser to provide a comfortable life for his wife, when all he ever wanted to do was become a famous musician.

His sound and age (36) bind him to the Classic Rock of the seventies, where his band “The Gang Bang Beat” was quite popular on the New York Club Scene, a scene that is now being overcome by a new wave of Glam/Goth kids and Punk Rock is just around the corner.

His wife Cecily’s faith in him is fading as she realizes that he cannot compete for much longer in this young man’s game. He cannot tolerate that his entire existence has fallen prey to this persona of “the has been”.

Similarly, by taking one last long shot at maintaining his integrity, David sets out to organize a Rock Opera, but he knows he doesn’t have the age appropriate new music.

But when a talented, handsome, Punk Rocker, JAVY BATES (25) shows up for a job at David’s salon, this old time Rocker thinks he has found a solution to his alienation.

A columnist for Cream, the definitive music magazine is a client and when she sits down for a haircut and asks David about his music, in the spur of the moment David decides to hand over Javy’s demo and passes it off as his own! And of course… She loves it.

David attempts to form a creative relationship with his new employee and invites him over for dinner.

Against a symbolic backdrop of an alienated suburban house, David tries to convince Javy to join him in marketing their music for money and fame. Javy flat out accuses David of stealing his music and all hell breaks lose.

The twists and turns of the horrific situation that develops will take your breath away.
